I actually live in a house where lots of people drink tea so no worries.  It appears that the advent calendar did not make the trip very well.  Did it get very damaged?  It is suppose to hang and each box is a magnet.

Only damage was two buff balls fell off of day 5...which I did not even notice till I added gummy bears & sugar plums to the calendar for my son...will get a batter action shot today when he gets up from his napo and we open todays...the pic was taken right after taking the saran wrap off...

I seriously need to get caught up on posting pictures!  I have them all taken...today was an awesome pattern from my wist!!!  Am going to make the kitchen set for my daughter's B-Day in January...thank you!  Thank you!  Thank You!

Yes, yzzilnoaj I was raised Orthodox (Antiochian)...wish I had know that would have opened up so many more crafty ideas!  I have a whole envelope of pictures of icons that I have rescued from the trash, since I hate to see them trashed...postage stamps, magazine pictures, cards, and calendars.  And the bazar was the week before send outs...

I am so glad you like the pattern!  I hope you enjoy making it for your daughter.

I took wish I knew about our similar religious  background too. I probably would have done some different crafts too.  Oh well...I just hope you are enjoying the presents I made as much as I am enjoying the ones you made.

Totally!!! Love the icon on yesterdays box!!! Was not going to open it in the morning cause I was in a rush to get out as I was hosting a table at the woman's tea.  Even mom sad it was a total God thing. The blue box matched my mom's outfit for the tea and the blue flower hair clip I made the day before and totaly made for the perfect picture of mom!!! It is going to be her Christmas picture this year! Cheesy
