Details of swap:
The Advent swap is a huge swap with lots of responsibility and trust. You are to send your partner a gift to open each day of Advent, December 1 - 24. And a slightly larger gift or stuffed stocking for Chrstmas day. Included in each gift should be a daily inspirational quote, maybe a joke, recipe, that kinda thing. You can number the gifts so the recipient knows which one to open which day, or let them choose which one they want each day.
No members with multiple negative comments will be permitted as this is a major swap.

Hi everyone, I'll answer all above questions:
1: Overseas partners: October 1st is deadline for surface (lots of things can be made in advance, if you don't mind paying the extra funds for air, you could mail by October 31st.
2:the actual calendar: the calendar can be made out of any materials you choose but shoud help your partner keep track of how many days until Christmas
3:the gifts: not every gift needs to be crafted, I would say of the 24 gifts, 6 crafted by you, 6 crafted by others (purchased at craft fairs and such, 6 kits (purchased or made) for your partner to make themselves, and 6 items purchased that share a little bit about the place you live, or supplies to be used for crafting. I hope that helps, feel free to keep the questions coming. Candy is also a nice touch.
