I sent a copy of my send receipt of the first package and am looking through my stack of papers to be able to send a copy of my second package.

I feel just sick that my first package didn't arrive.  I wrote 3 pages of info to describe what I sent.  I really hope it still turns up because some of the items can't be recreated.  I can re send the second package though if it doesn't turn up.

Dont feel too bad, I feel horrible as Im not sure how to do a second package justice without knowing what was in your first  stupid posties

i'm stuck in sending limbo too. my second package hasnt made it yet.... not as long as bubblegum_phoenix's but.... the waiting blows...

Today I got a PM saying that a package from Canada to Australia had finally made it, and it has been sent around the time that yours, tlh878, has been sent...
The procedure in this case is this: we wait a time that the swap mods say has to be expected (three months to Australia, for example, doesn't seem to surprise them much). After that, it's either a positive if the proof of sending is there, or a negative (please tlh878, search for the receipt, I know you've sent, but I must prove it), and a call for an angel and / or resending. If it's a problem with the mail between Canada and New Zealand, resending might not be the best alternative. An Angel from closer by would maybe make more sense. I'll probably need two angels... one now while we give the second package a chance, and another one later... I'll discuss it with our swap mod (yes, our swap has a personal mod at this stage ) and tell you about it.
As for sloth003, man, what is it with the mail in Canada? But you're still within expected shipping time, so we'll have to give the package a bit more time.

the post in canada is run by the goverment?  that likely explains the screw ups.

lol, I just feel really bad cos tlh878 spent so much time and effort on that package and I cant even show it off! and then, everyone else has recieved their packages but I cant really send her one and I havent gotten package one to start off with! I know its not my mailbox having issues cos Im still getting other swap packages, why couldnt the flaming posties steal the bills instead
