My niece has been asking me to crochet her a cat for a while,  so I made her this black baby!

Thanks for looking!

Excellent-looking black kitty!  The real cat in your second photo says: "It's like looking in the mirror!"

Your kitty is adorable and nicely made!

What a cute cat! A good copy  Smiley

How long did it take you to crochet? I love amigurumi but crocheting the tail, so small is always such a hard part!

Anyway, great job! Happy niece!  Cheesy

Thanks wendiek!  It took me a few days, but I made two of almost everything before I got it right.  My first head even got a face before I decided to trash it.  The only thing I got right right away was the legs.  I'd say I could do it in maybe 5 hrs without all the messing up.  I don't crochet horribly fast, and assembly always takes me forever.

That happens to me too! Not quite happy or missing stitches.. I always use a pattern, and try to keep counting. Even then I get it wrong every now and then  Tongue

5 hours is probably what it would take me to crochet too.

Thanks for answering my question! It is a very lovely cat  Grin
