i'm trying to decide between the viking emerald 116 and the singer curvy 8763.  Their ratings and reviews are both good online.  The lady in the store was REALLY pushing the viking.  The viking has a ten year warranty, and the singer only has 90 days which leads me to believe the viking is better quality.  The viking is about 100$ more, but still under 300$ which i think is a good deal?

Any advice or input?

I just got an Emerald 183 too, and I'm so excited about it! The lady at the store said that the Singers were good machines too, but the computer parts aren't as nice (ie, they wear out sooner and it's too expensive to replace them). I went with the Emerald for a little future security.
