I just ordered a bunch of new cake pans and accessories and couldn't wait to play with them, so I made a "just because" cake. It's the first time I have fully covered a cake in fondant and done more than one tier. It's a bit bumpy and crooked, but I learned some lessons on the way, and it's just for me anyways, so it doesn't matter Grin I share a birthday with my son, so I never get my own cake either. I'm in a house full of boys, so I made this one a bit girly. Smiley Criticism welcome!

Thanks for looking!

That looks fantastic.  I love the strawberries.

Did you support the top tier at all or just set it on top of the bottom one?

I think it looks great!!!  I love the color combo and the polka dots/stripes and strawberries.  I would definitely love that cake for my birthday . . . great job!
