So I am artist... and a junk collector... and because of that my dear cousin has taken on the wonderful habit of unloading all her unwanted crap...err... i mean stuff, on me whenever I see her, which I absolutely love because there is often plenty of stuff I can upcycle. Last year she gave me this girly white and pink and yellow rocking horse. My daughter is 7. Too old for a rocking horse. My newborn is a boy, he didn't need a pink rocking horse. Well Christmas time came around.. again... and we were struggling for cash... again... when all of a sudden it came to me like a flash... like a vision. The boy has a jungle themed bedroom. He has a big giraffe, a huge elephant, a crocodile, a few monkeys, and no zebra. No zebra in a jungle themed room. This is just sad. After about an hour of rummaging through the basement I found that girly rocking horse and went nuts on it! Here are the before and after pics!

He loves his new zebra!
