Hi all!

Maybe you all can help my hubby and me out. We purchased a painting from Etsy for our office. It arrived today, but the shipping material (i.e. a sheet of corrugated cardboard) covering the face of it has STUCK to the painting!! BTW its acrylic.

We are just sick, its really our first fine art purchase and we spent (for us) a nice chunk of change. Plus, my hubby just loves this painting.

Any ideas on how to get it off without damaging the art??? We've written the artist, but while waiting we thought that the Craftster artist might have some ideas. We are considering heating it with an embossing gun or putting it in a fridge, but don't want to do anything til we talk to someone with more knowledge than us!

Thanks for any help or encouragement!!
Misty

Whew...we got it...husband warmed it slightly with an embossing gun and after a bit, the cover just popped off!

So for all you artists, if it sticks, warm it up! Thanks all for keeping me from going bonkers.
