CRAFTING KEEPS ME FROM GOING CRAZY!!!!

Ok so for a Murder Mystery train about a wedding gone wrong. I found out a week before hand that I was gonna be the bride. The other girl who is usually the bride wears a 1920ish off white dress that I found at Gabriel brothers several years ago for $13. And I tried the dress on and while it fit it fit horribly so I came home found a pattern and made it work. http://www.simplicity.com/p-3658-misses-costumes.aspx I used this pattern in the largest size and then added some and made the skirt longer. This is what I came up with hop you like it.

I loved it and got lots of compliments on it. C/C welcome

Last year I had to take in 6 inches on the bust because I had lost so much weight, But I still love the dress and the best part since I wear it on the train is that it is washable.

Wow.
You made it in a week? It looks a whole lot better than many "professionally made" dresses I have seen in magazines and on websites!

You did an awesome job!  I really like that dress.  It could be a regular old wedding dress.  It's pretty.
