But I have a little question: you said you did a layer also on the inside.. it means if you put sugar or stuff like that, it doesn't touch the crystal, but the clay... but isn't it toxic? While working with clays everybody told me to never do anything that could ever be in direct contact with food, like decorating plates or the insides of jar..

so maybe it's a stupid question, but since you did it like that I was just curious about it..

Haha! Late response is late.

Thank you for the kind words! The "inside" layer isn't really on the inside - it's a thin layer on the outside of the jar that I laid down before I started adding the bulk of the body.  I basically wrapped the jar in a thin silver sheet and then put all of the black detail on top of it - that way it looks smooth and silver on the inside, but anything that goes in will still be touching the glass and not the sculpey.
