I made a weak effort attempt at a mosaic tray and table today.  As luck would have it, I started with simple pre-cut and broken tiles for these- No cutting...Maybe in the future? - and trying to make the square tiles stay in a line is.......mind numbing, eh?

The trick on that table top was getting the cement on evenly so the tiles will have a flat top.  I have much more practice to go to get that figured out.  I will grout the table top in a few days and attach it to a metal table.

...So...This is what insanity must be like, I thought.....and I could kind of see the appeal.
