I got a special request to make my original flapper dress (http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=349708.msg4076597#msg4076597) into a dress for a flower girl. She wanted a Tiffany Blue and lace added. I found this gorgeous bamboo/cotton/lycra fabric. It was interesting to work with. Also it is a bit thinner so I decided to make the skirt part in two tiered layers. I really like how it turned out.

Love that collar!

I am looking to do a personal swap with (or will outright pay for) a knitter who could make an adult sized knitted t-rex sweater for Christmas. If anyone is interested, please let me know.

I love this disign. it is super cute with the added lace.

do you drape on a maniquin or draft the pattern on paper?

I got the lace at Joann's.

A little of both. This one is mostly drafted on paper first, but I like to figure out the details on the mannequin.

It is just too funny that I was thinking, "hmmm... I think I'll make a little drop waist dress for El." and then I ran across this post! So adorable. I love the color of the fabrics, too. Now I can't wait to make one!
