Ahh I wish. I suggested it and he looked at me like he wanted to cry...
This made me laugh out loud. Smiley

Your lamp is most excellent. Just recently I was wondering if anyone had taken up the challenge, glad to see it done!

Thanks!! It's way older than me, for sure. My mom has a similar one that has to be 35+ years old.

Awesome  Grin

I have actually been wanting to do this for years but I have been waiting for an avocado green blender (I love retro green appliances). Still haven't found the right blender, but I am willing to wait! I have the lamp wiring ready to go  Cheesy

My parents received this same blender as a wedding gift back in 1980!  I would turn it into a lamp....but they still use it. haha

This has to go on my list of things to do. I love repurposing things into lamps.

Thanks for the idea!

I constantly find inspiration on this site...

I DID do this! A few years ago even.
Still works, still brings shock-and-awe to guests.
Manflesh helped with electric bits. He wanted to make the light bulb SPIN for crissake...too much, I said "no".
