I am new to the knitting board--I crochet mostly--but I have to learn to knit because I now work in a yarn store.  This is my first knitted project!  I picked it up pretty fast, and I had a lot of fun making it!  The pattern is from this booklet: http://www.amazon.com/Celebrity-Slouchy-Beanies-Family-Leisure/dp/1609000935 All of the hats are really cute! I can't wait to try another one!

This is really cute. It looks so cozy and warm.
I'm also mostly a crochet-er, and have been wanting to started knitting more, too.
It seems like a beanie would be a good project to practice on.

Do you mind telling me what kind of yarn you used?

It's Berroco Vintage--a worsted weight yarn made with acrylic, wool and nylon. It was a dream to work with!
