I was showing my other half the parcel of goodies that pops sent me last night and tried on the hat for him and he said he could picture me strolling up Carnaby Street in the Sixties wearing it...
I think my parcel will be ready to post on Monday by the way  I put the finishing touches to my last project last night; must resist the urge to start another project....

Received this awesom parcel from morrigan_le_faye this morning.
I've been totally spoiled by her - just look what I recieved:

The beautiful picnic rug in my favourite colours (I had a picnic rug on my wists)


This great day of the dead needle case (which is going to be filled and used tonight)


Really pretty flower brooches - I'm going to wear one tomorrow


And here are my dogs Amy (front) and Spike patiently waiting for one of the dog treats!

What a great package! Love the picnic rug, and the needle case - cool day of the dead fabric! The flowers are pretty, they're kanzashi right? I keep meaning to have a go at that So nice to see Amy and Spike again! They're so big now!

Yeah, the flowers are kansashi. I learned to make them recently. It's fun and pretty easy.

They are so much fun to make and everyone seems to like them--I attach them to wine bottles when we go over to friends for dinner...what a great way to use of little bits of fabric and buttons!  Nice job on them!
