Hey guys, I'm trying to decide if I should make this ring design be horizontal or vertical... which do you like better? Sorry for quickie snapshot photos!

or

& It's going to have these set in it:

In the design drawing, the two circles will be the pink stones, the long oval is the black stone, and the little gray dots are going to be silver balls.

I just can't decide if I like it better horizontally or vertically =/

Mine and my hubby's opinion would be vertical.

The vertical looks better, in my opinion! I love the stones you will be using!

Verticle. It makes your fingers look longer.

I'd go vertical on this.

To me, it would be annoying to have the non-ringed fingers on either side  bumping up against the edges of the ring. If those fingers happened also to have rings, you could risk either scratching one or the other or hearing a little clickity click all day if you do a lot of typing.

Good luck with your decision,

Thanks everyone Smiley My immediate instinct was horizontal, but I asked this here and a couple other places too and the -overwhelming- majority of other people said vertical, so I'm glad I asked Tongue Vertical it is!

Thanks for the input! The design is slightly raised over the fingers, to help minimize contact like that. Smiley This is one of those things where I'm trying to compromise form and function together. I'm thinking of it like a classy cocktail ring, as opposed to an everyday ring. I make a lot of everyday rings so I'm trying to branch out a bit Smiley
