For the wristband I used this pattern from knitty.com

For the wings I made up my own pattern
Wing 1
cast on 4
ROW 1 purl
ROW 2 Inc in first st, k to last st, Inc in last st
repeat row one and 2 until 12 stitches on hook
p
K2 tog, k across
p
K2 tog, k2 tog, k across
p
K2 tog at beginning and end
p
K2 tog at beginning and end
p
K2 tog at beginning and end
p
k2 tog, k across
p
k2tog

Wing 2
cast on 4

oo what a lovely idea! my skin reacts to the backs of watches and i've been meaning to make a sewn cuff for a watchface - but this is so sweet! good idea Smiley

finding the right kind of watch was the hardest, I got mine at Big Lots for $5 just cut the band off
