So I loooove headbands especially the big feathery ones for a night out but I also love simple ones to just get my hair out of my face.  So depending on the interest in the swap will depend on the set up of the swap, it will either be in groups and you have to send one headband to every group member or a single partner and you make three? headbands for that single partner.  I think I can organize it (I have participated in two swaps, is that all I need?)

This is a great swap for knitters, crotcheters, sewists, and those in between, like me.

Here are some examples:

These are just a few examples of the MANY varieties.  Let me know who's in!

I would love to join Smiley I think groups would be fun, that way you can get 3 different styles. When where you thinking for the start date?

I'd be interested. I like having different partners, that way you will probably end up with very different headbands.
Another idea would be to let people choose how many partners they want. That way some one who wants a small swap could do do 1, while someone else could do 3. It would take more time picking partners, but you might get more interest.

I believe you need two positive feedbacks to organize. Not just participated in 2. As one of your swap is in progress, I don't think you can organize until you get feedback for it.

I would love to swap for things kids could do in the car on a long car trip (3 girls ages 5-12). I can knit, crochet or trade yarn.

This is great!  I like the idea of picking how many people to swap with.  The swap I am in now just ended, so hopefully I will get feedback soon and I will be able to start it soon thereafter.

Keep the ideas coming!

In.  Sounds fantastic.

Actually, when I saw the picture I thought you were doing fascinators, but headbands are cool too.   Grin

Also, just opened this up in Craftzine: http://www.etsy.com/listing/51780258/small-brain-slug-headband

Probably not what you were thinking of doing, but this seems like a great lazy-man's halloween costume.
