This is AMAZING and totally rocked and wisted. I wish I could knit or knew someone I could get to knit one for me! I love love the hood and pockets. The squirrels are so amazing! I may try to learn to knit just to make the squirrels

It took about a month to finish, but that was with a lot of planning, fiddling, ripping, and fixing.  If I made it again, it would probably be about 2 weeks.  Yay for bulkier yarn!


On a more exciting note though,  OMG!  I can't believe this made it to the featured projects page.  Seriously you guys, thanks sooooo much for sayin' that This Rocks.  I'm so happy!!

Since seeing this a while back, I've been obsessing about it a little.  Especially since the nights are getting a little chilly here in Colorado.  I have never tried knitting.  But, 10 years ago I bought a brown sweater very similar to the one you made and it is very moth-eaten by now and I can't find a replacement.  Does this mean I need to learn to knit just to get the exact sweater I want?!    Just wanted to tell you that I like the pattern alot and will try to get one soon!

Not necessarily, after I started knitting it, I was able to find the original sweater for sale here (just in different colors).
