Hey Everyone!

Just wanted to show off a sweater I just finished.  It's a recreation of the sweater Ellen Page wears in the movie Juno.  My sister requested it, and I took it up as a challenge!

Main Detail:

Sweater Front:

Sweater Back:

My boyfriend modeling it:

I used Elizabeth Zimmermann's Raglan Sweater Pattern to make the bulk of it.  Then I found a cool squirrel knitting chart on the internet and then I drew up an acorn and squiggle pattern for the embellishments  (charts for the squirrels and acorns can be found on my Ravelry Page).
I couldn't get a collar to come out right, so I ripped it out and added a hood instead, then I made a really long 3 stitch i-cord and I attached a pair of little crocheted acorns as drawstring pulls.
I also made some pockets.  When I sewed the first one on it looked like an acorn, so I did the second one the same way.

Hope you guys like it!

This is amazing! I love all the details! Those little acorn string pulls just top it off perfect.

I've never seen the movie, but that sweater is really cute!  I love the little pockets.

Wow, just marvelous! I'd like to be able to create a sweater. I like the colors. They really work well together. Since the pockets look like acorns, it would've been neat if you knitted the ribbing with the darker brown yarn as the "caps" of acorns.
