Hey North East Ohioans!
Are any of you interested in doing historical crafting? Anything like spinning or weaving or more obscure things like tablet weaving or nalbinding? My husband wants to start a group for historical martial art training (think long or broad swords) and I would love to get into the crafty side of history

I am an avid crocheter but everything else is greek to me although I am a quick learner and I want to learn!! So let me know if anyone is interested!

Regan

I'm not in your area, but it might be worthwhile for you to look into existing organisations, like the Society for Creative Anachronism or the Adrian Empire. I prefer Adria, because you can work up to live weaponry (real metal swords, broadhead archery, and things like that) and there's more of an emphasis on the craft side.

Good luck!
