my attepmt at the rainbow cake

i know you've seen it before, but i've been wanting to try this for a while. i've made the rainbow cupcakes before, but not the cake. it was pretty simple, just split the batter into six bowls and bake one color at a time, the layers were thin, so i didn't know if it would look ok, but i think it turned out nice.


this was before i iced the whole cake. it looks like a stack of rainbow pancakes .

I am not a big fan of colored cakes because of the food colorings used.  Yours turned out nice.  It was the color of the rainbow.  What is the flavor of the cake?

good job! it looks like a lot of works though, I don't even now how to make normal cakes!
