Hello!
I'm new to this part of the forum, this is my very first attempt at silk screening!

It's some brain cells, RNA and proteins..... I'm a science person incase you're wondering.

I painted this and then silk screened it onto a piece of fabric, then made the shirt!

Quite the messy learning process but I think I'll have a lot of fun with it!

thanks for the kind words! I did spend a lot of time drafting the design before screening.  I did add way too much of the screen filler so I had to do some touch ups by hand.  I still haven't attempted to clean the screen yet either!

umm I'm brand new to this, but I just got a silk screen kit at Micheals.  I *think* it's actually nylon, but I can't remember, either way it's reusable.  It comes with a special washable paint and I just painted the design on freehand.  After that I used the screen filler and let it dry.  Washed off the paint so there was hole in the screen filler where the design was, placed the screen on a piece of fabric and used a squeegee with white fabric paint to apply the design!
