First post (eep!): Travel box for my tools

I'm going to my best friends place on Monday and it's a 5 hour train ride from where I live and I thought I might do my visual journal or this music journal I'm starting, on my way there.

I needed somewhere to put my pens and stuff in so I bought a cardboard box 50% off at the craft store. It looked plain so I reconstructed it and here's what I came up with.

I used scrapbook papers, stickers and rub-ons.

Now I need your help on figuring out what tools I need to bring for my journal.

Its adorable! And ummmm glue, pens/pencils, scissors, (if they're allowed on trains? I have no idea. We don't have trains!) masking tape is ALWAYS good to have on hand ... hrm. Maybe a mini fan to aid any drying?!   Something I always carry around is my little box of watercolours and water pen.

OH! And stickers!

What a fun box to carry along with you! I bet you'll get lots of nice comments from other passengers.
Along with the pencils, pens and watercolors, I'd add a small ruler, a glue stick, a small pencil sharpener and an eraser.

I also love that you're crafting in preparation for more crafting. You've gotta put your own spin on things and what you've done there is a great way to do so.
