This is amazing. I love the touch of the question mark blocks.

Omg if you had a light blue wall and put those on them, with some cloud vinyls it would be the coolest living room ever. What type of paint did you use? Did you laquer over it? I tried a paint-on-the-table project with an ikea table and the paint really resisted the varnish that they already had.

Don't even get me started on the types of paint we used. The table was unfinished wood, so that made things less complicated to begin with. HOWEVER - the white was an oil based indoor/outdoor paint, and we mixed a matte black water based paint into it to get the grey, and had ALL SORTS of trouble.

At some point we tried to spray paint, and that just caused even more trouble.

The red for the buttons is acrylic craft paint, and the red letters are actually stickers.

It's varnished with a glossy spray lacquer.

That is so incredibly cool! I wish I were that crafty because something like this would be awesome for my 19yo's apartment. Smiley

Coolest coffee table ever!  I love it and wondering if it's worth it showing it to the husband - I think he would actually drag me off for crafty shopping for an awesome table like this.   Wink
