I love your take on the whole gibbous trend.  I have one question about the fitting, though: if you take the pattern from a camisole, you lose the stretch that camisole fabrics usually have.  Does your top have darts or any other provisions to accommodate boobs?  I really need to get off my butt, break out that free motion foot, and try this.

Oh, and the ruffle's not too much.  It's really quite subtle; I like it!

yes I did put darts in when fitting it, which worked out rather well. I think I could have fitted the back a little bit better, but it worked out ok anyway Smiley Truthfully I dont have much in the boob department so I didn't have to do anything too extreme (just small darts), but I would advise pre-fitting for sure, and a way to get in! make sure you use a longer zipper or closure than you think you will need, because that was my initial mistake Smiley

I hope you give it a go...it was a lot of fun!
