I am getting some great ideas that I want to try out.. including some cute little log cabin like houses :-)  I made a "gnome home" with some twigs from the yard for my garden.. I would like to incorporate that into my houses :-)

I'm thinking about this one... I've never made a chunky house before.  I'm going to try one before I commit myself.  Fingers crossed!

I want to see how much I get done with the other swaps I have going on. This is such a neat idea that I would love to do it. I would then hang them in my bathroom as the border. Then it would NEVER be boring in there. okay tmi but I do think it would be fun.

Thanks loves2experiment for organizing this round.  I love to participate but I am not "organizer" material.

On my honor, I will try-
to serve up chunky goodness, on time
and live by the swap rules.

We have 15 signed up for the swap so far Cheesy

I'm thinking about closing sign-ups by 6 EST on Sunday 7/25 (or earlier if we reach the cap of 20) so that I can send out partner assignments the same evening!

Depending on the final number of participants, I might have to adjust the number in each group to make things work...but meh, we'll deal with that issue if it happens Roll Eyes

Hey everyone -

I just exchanged a series of PMs with loves2experiment and I think we have wonderful organizer for this swap.  Since I'm feeling the love tonight I thought I'd let ya all know that I'm excited that so many of my craftster crushes have joined in.

Come on, sing with me now:

We are the children,
We are the ones who make a brighter day so let's giving

Signups CLOSED!!!

And in other breaking news...

1.  Partners have been assigned and everyone should have received a message from me Cheesy  Please let me know ASAP if you haven't received a list of addresses for your partners!!

2.  Everyone should have the "Chunky Houses 5" swap listed in their swap profile.

3.  Good communication is essential for making this swap a success!  Feel free to chat about your swap progress, discuss your chunky house building woes, brainstorm (i.e. solicit ideas? Wink), etc. in this thread.  And when you're done constructing, please remember to send "SENT!" and "RECEIVED!" messages to your partners and the organizer.

4.  A link to the gallery for this swap will be posted when I receive notification of our first sender.  This is one of the best parts of swapping!  We'll get to marvel at pictures of all the awesome chunky houses that we've worked on Cheesy  If you do not have access to a camera (or are unable to take pictures of the chunky houses you receive) please, please, please let your partners know in advance so that they can take pictures of their finished houses to post on your behalf (when you've received from them).
