New Sparkle Vinyl Purse!

Here is my newest purse creation.  I think it turned out pretty good.  Those frames are still the biggest pain to work with though....Not for the faint of heart.

It's made with turquoise and white sparkle vinyl (the turquoise is my favorite color of sparkle vinyl I've seen yet I think! It's SO shiny)


I gave it cute little feet


The interior is boomerang fabric and I put 3 white stripes on the front that are padded to give it some dimension.

YES!!! I agree! What machine did you use? I have some really pretty sparkle vinyl but I'm sort of afraid to try it out on my dinky sewing machine. How were you able to do this with such a stiff kind of material?

This is so pretty. It reminds me of the upholstery in classic cars in the best possible way. Often the interior color matches the exterior. The sparkles are amazing.

Concerning the machine I use, it's really just a old Kenmore sewing machine from the 70's that my mom gave me.  I just had to be gentle with it and see what it could handle and now i'm pretty rough on it but I have yet to break a needle! (or the machine for that matter...) *knock on wood*  To give you an idea of what i'm working with, here's a pic:



It basically has wood paneling. haha.

That is beautiful. You can tell from the photos that the detail work was really well done. I have no idea how difficult it is to work with the medium you chose but I am really impressed with how professional and pretty your finished product is!
