WOW !! I am so excited about how many folks are gathering for this swap. Smiley The gallery is going to be swoon worthy. Smiley

OK since it is a bookmark swap I am throwing the cliche question out there....

Stuck on an island..blah blah blah...One book and one kind of bookmark? ummm ummm

Wow that's a hard one. Can I pick 3books and a bookmark?Huh? I need a bible of course, love story, and a mystery (I guess the love story could be a mystery). The bookmark would have to be pink, & glittery with a butterfly on it. Maybe the glitter will reflect off the sun's UV rays and I could do some morris code type signal for help. LOL!!!

If you are stuck on a desert island with a book - why would you want to get off?   Cheesy

if it were  a deserted island with lots of food, I'd take Pickwick Papers (there's so much good eating in that book!) - there's so many good books out there, it's hard to choose. A book on identifying edible plants, or a survival book (which I find entertaining, for some reason - I like to think I could survive in the wilderness on my own, but hate camping - go figure). Shakespeare maybe, or Anna Karenina.

Oh a survival book is good.
Is there a book about nature crafts? If so, I'd definitely bring that so I could have something to do.
If not, I'd probably take Mists of Avalon. I love that book!

Hmmmm. I would take John Steinbeck's East of Eden with me. And maybe a Chuck Palahniuk book...you know, it could always be worse sort of mentality.

As for a bookmark, I'd probably make my own out of coconut thread and feathers. Haha.

I'm in, score!
One book. That's tough. Gonna go with Nine Stories by JD Salinger. And about the bookmark.... I'm a dog earer, so I'll wait and see what the swap has in store for me and hopefully I can change my library-heretic ways.
