I am so terrible! I know!
I make excuses by saying "dog earred pages make the book look loved".

I'm going to be honest.. I haven't owned a bookmark since elementary school. I just...gasp...dog ear my pages. I bet my books will be much happier when I use bookmarks.

dog ear pages??! I feel a panic attack coming on.... 

We might have to send you extra bookmarks so never feel the need to bend a page again!!

I'm a dog-earer too! (Much to my husband's dismay and chagrin.) That said, I'm signing up. I've got some cool ideas for awesome bookmarks firing off in my head already!

Just bought some jumbo paper clips, I've got everything need for this swap. Its easy a long crafting time and I love to read. I'm so in.

I am very tempted.... I started reading more now that I have hour lunch breaks at work, and I always tend to use my pay stub as a bookmark, despite owning a stack of real bookmarks. I think I just need some crafty fun ones to remedy that.

I didn't sign up for the newbie swap which means I'll be a first-timer, but my books (and I'm sure the books of others) need relief from being dog-eared.  I'm doing it for the sake of my books, I swear!

Looking over wist yesterday for bookmarks and I was swooning at all the choices there are.

When you are in a group setting do you craft just one kind of book mark and send the same thing to everyone or do you craft for each person you are sending to?

You should probably craft for each person's desires but in the questionnaires, I'm seeing a lot of "I don't care what you send me"-type things.

And, Ironyandparadox, I sent you a (longish) PM back! And a short one. Der!

We're at 16 people already! I'm excited. 25 is the point where we officially require a co-org. I hope we get there

Ohh... This sounds like fun and low stress enough... I'd probably go for the one partner option. International postage adds up even if it's something light like a bookmark.

Onyxnox, you should come and play with us. I was looking over wist and the past galleries and the book marks that are being sent and wisted are really simple. One of those destress evening projects to kick out all of them.
