I live a knitting life, everything else is secondary. "Want to go out for a drink?" "Nope, sorry, I have a project at home that I'm close to finishing."

That is stunning Lapoli! And I adore the color!

I had a blanket where it was many different cabled pieces sewn together. It took me forever and I hated seaming. I try to avoid any seaming whatsoever. So attempting to make it all in one piece is right up my ally!

This would even make a great Christmas present!!

Thanks, everyone! As far as holiday knitting, this would definitely be one to consider.. it's a lot of bang for relatively little work.

seabound23 - I totally agree about lugging around the panels.  The blanket WAS really, really heavy by last couple of repeats and I had to take a lot of breaks to spare my arms.  BUT, finishing all the knitting and not having to worry about seaming it together was well worth it! Smiley

Beautiful! I love that color too. I've just started knitting and really like doing cables and have thought that I'd like to try a blanket, so maybe I'll try this pattern at some point.
