Greetings. What brand of yarn makes cotton/acrylic blend?  I went to the store and could not locate the combo.  Did you use a strand each of cotton and acrylic.  Do tell!! Thanks in advance!!

I had the same problem with the bath puffs not lathering up well and decided to try the cotton/acrylic blend.  It works well, and the 100% cotton works well, but you really need to keep the 100% cotton ones small -- otherwise they are too heavy.

Hi -

To answer your question, there is a Lion Brand 50% acrylic/50% cotton -- I purchased mine at Michaels.  Debra Norville may have one too.

100% cotton does work well, but keep the puff small or it just becomes a big large lump in the bathtub.

wow - that's lovely, I've been looking for a pattern for a 'proper' puff!! Off to go get my crazy coloured wool to make one up for my mum's birthday hamper!!
