Gorgeous, and if you wanted to add some stiffness to the bottom you could still do it even though it's finished.
Just cover some needlepoint plastic (is that what it's called?) in your fabric, make a pocket put in plastic then sew it up adding some velcro to the bottom before you finish it then pop it in the lunch sack, if you need to machine wash the bag then you just take out the bottom piece because it's removable, neat huh!  Wink

That's a great idea! Thanks!

It's gorgeous! Do you know who the designer of the fabric is? I love the button :-)

The selvage says "DAVID TEXTILES, INC." but there is no name for the print. I bought it at a bargain fabric store for $1.75/yd.

I did a quick search-it is called Dots and Food from the Kiss the Cook collection by David Textiles.: http://www.davidtextilesinc.com/fabric-by-the-yard/cotton-prints/kiss-the-cook/1172/893/d/893/20951/productdetail.aspx

There is a similar print that has girl colors: http://www.davidtextilesinc.com/fabric-by-the-yard/cotton-prints/kiss-the-cook/1172/893/d/893/20952/productdetail.aspx

I love it! I read your blog all of the time, as soon as I saw "Huck" on the thumbnail I knew it had to be you...I never realized you were on Crafster too!

Very nice bag. I like the detail of topstitching around the seams - it adds to the charm of the bag. The strap handle is a great idea.

This is super cute. I absolutely love the idea of having a carrying strap on the back of it.  Smiley
