thanks so much for your replies...i'll be making hairbands with this style of beading next...hopefully they turn out nice. I sure do love chunky rings like these!

Do they swirly bits get caught on things? How do you manage to keep them from snagging?

Or maybe I'm just terribly clumsy

Did you make the ring band with wire too, and just randomly wrap the beads on top, or did you buy a ringform?

I actually just got pre-made ring forms for them and attached the beaded piece to it using wire
