i have been working on this bunny off and on for a little while, i am glad to be finished! she started of as this bear but she decided halfway through that she wanted to be a sad bunny.
can someone please cheer her up? i don't know what to do with a depressed bunny on my hands Smiley

closeup of sad face:

any tips on how to make a tighter weave? no matter what i do some stuffing is always showing. i use a fairly small hook, i guess it should be smaller or something.

i think she is sad because i forgot to make her a tail...

i would go out tonight but i haven't got a stitch to wear

i had a similar problem in the past with stuffing my small animals too. i found that using a bulkier weight yarn with a smaller needle helps as well as using a sock or piece of fabric in a close color to initially stuff and then put inside the crocheted body:)

Sweet.  Not so much sad as sleepy.  Maybe, you might "open" the eyes with a white inverted U above what you already have, and do the irises light blue.  Two or three lashes at outside bottom corners to give a little "twinkle" .  But really she is sweet.  Do not give up you are almost there.

Oh my, this is a sad little bunny.  ;_;

You really do have to use a much smaller hook that normal for amigurumis. If you're splitting the yarn and/or having trouble making stitches, you need to go up a hook size. If there's gaps between stitches (where stuffing would show through), you need a smaller sized hook.

And yes, open those blue bunny eyes. Cool
