Well I've made a couple of these before one for myself, one for a swap partner, and now I had a request for a Batman one for a friend.

That's pretty much it. I've been actually lining the purses, since they're paper I'm not sure leaving the interior unlined is the easiest.

I do need to write up something on how I do the lining... maybe when I put this next one together I'll take pictures.

That's awesome. It's totally the reason why it's a good thing that Mr. Taco's comic collection is stored halfway across the country.

I carried the purse I made for myself for 6 months. I wasn't gentle with it at all. I actually found it once sitting in a small puddle of water at work because a bottle in my bag for work leaked. The whole bottom of it was soaked.

Despite all the torture I put mine through the thing that finally did it in was that I thought I'd clip a thread.... yeah it was an important one. It's not exactly falling apart but I decided to stop carrying it.

The fun thing is that as you carry it the paper relaxes and it becomes easier and easier to carry.

I think if I had given it a touch up coat of sealer (the same kind artists use to seal charcoal drawings) it might have held up a little better.

Any little tears I had were easily repaired with school glue.

I'll have to get some pics of the one I've carried for months. Cheesy
