i was at a craft warehouse one day wandering around as i tend to do and i cam across this fabric, it was in the fat quarters area, in a grouping of five i think, i was drawn to it, i picked it up and tried to justify what i could do with it, i couldn't think of a thing, i wandered around the store for about an hour trying to put it down but i couldn't, for a minute i even thought i could start quilting just to use it.  in the end i just decided i had to have it. about a year later i finally got around to pulling it out. i had these three frames my work was throwing  out, for a green hotel they were wasting a lot when remodeling.   so i pulled out the pics and replaced it with the fabric and ta da... art for my hall way.

i am really pleased with how well they correspond because they are basically the same pattern just different elements of the one main pattern.

let me know what you think of them.

thanks

I love it! It's definitely better that the pile of fabrics I just had to have, but have done nothing with.

This makes me want to do this with my fabrics that I haven't sewn on yet!  I can just see my sewing corner decorated with frames of fabric...that I have to take down when I need one of them for a quilt block...lol!!  It's gorgeous, and great job on being green even when the company wasn't  Cheesy

thanks i  had to make the decision that i am not actually going to do anything with these, but they aren't all of the fat quarter so i have some to play around with which i have used to make a sun glass holder and pincushion so far.

Years ago I did the same thing with a large ikea frame and some glorious peacock feather print material that I had no idea how to use but absolutely loved! I love the idea of the small frames - with the right prints one could really accessorize a craft room! (my mind whirling with ideas... sewing machine cover, pin cushion, maybe some fabric boxes) the worst thing about craftster is I'm constantly adding to my "to do list"!Thanks!

That's a great idea.  It looks really cute, and kudos on recycling those frames.
