So the tut list hasn't been updated for many months and i am looking for a simple rag doll tut. I made my own pattern but it just looks like a fat trianle  Cheesy I am looking for something simple, that I can modify because I want to make dolls to sell at my craft fair in Nov. The dolls are going to be for babies and younger children so I don't need them to have moving joints or sculpting or anything like that. Just something cute that they can dress. If anyone knows of some good patterns or tut's that they could pass on I would really appreciate it!!! Thank you Smiley

Google Home Spun From the Heart, she has patterns that are well done for simple rag dolls. If you want to make different sizes, you don't need to buy more than one pattern, you can alter them yourself. I re comend the Lolly and her Lollipop because she can hold her head up on her own without dowels or popsicle sticks. I know they say "primitive doll" but I make them for my kids...you embroider the faces and she does include clothes patterns for bloomers and a dress, but they have unfinished edges which I don't think you want (neither did I) for kids who will dress and undress the dolls, but I am sure you can alter them to fit your needs.

She also suggests painting the shoes on, but of course u don't have to do that either if you don't want to.

Hope this is somewhat helpful! Good Luck!!
