Summer is here and one of my favorite summer projects is making a watermelon whale. It's perfect for picnics at the beach, pool parties, BBQs, and all those other great summer gatherings. The project is pretty easy - no more difficult than carving a pumpkin.

Ok, that's it, the next watermelon I buy is going to be a whale! How cute! I just read your blog and the instructions are so easy! Unfortunately I can't stand watermelon but the kids LOVE IT so they'll be happy Wink

Oh that is too cool.  I always look at things like this with envy, being clumsy and VERY uncreative with food presentation, but your tutorial actually makes this look do-able.  Now I just need an excuse to try it!
