My best friend is pregnant, so I've been going crazy with crafting baby things for her.  She loves "My Neighbor Totoro," and is decorating her baby's room with that theme.  I decided to make her a baby quilt, and thought it would be cute for it to be Totoro themed.  I really wanted to use the freezer-paper stencil tutorial from Craftster, but couldn't find a good image for it.  Thus, I decided to use printed iron-on transfers.  It's a little difficult to tell, but the binding is plaid because she really likes it.  If I can, I'd really like to put red robots on the back, since her husband loves robots (that's how he wanted to decorate the room).  It really depends on how I feel.

Note:  This is credit to the unknown source.  I did not create the images on the quilt.  I randomly found them on the internet ages ago.  I don't know where I found them, or even who made them.

Hooray for Totoro! This is a beautiful quilt. I hope you find robot fabric for the father to be. I would imagine with all the focus on Mommy that he's feeling a little left out.

Thanks everyone!  I already crocheted the baby a Mario star, so the daddy-to-be shouldn't feel completely left out.  Both of them love Mario.

Thank you!  I was going to use images straight from the movie, but I thought these images looked better for a baby quilt.
