I am in desperate need of some new clothes... I have lost 30 pounds and nothing fits! I wanted to find something cute, but didn't want to buy new skirts/pants because I'm still losing weight, and won't be able to wear them in a few weeks. Finally, I decided that wrap pants were the way to go- really cute, really comfy, and can change sizes simply by tying a bow. So I made a pair of khaki wrap capris. They were really easy to make, and I think they're kinda cute.
Here they are tied in front:

And tied in back:

I'm still relatively new to sewing, I've been teaching myself how to sew on my Mom's old 1962 Singer Fashion Mate. Anyhoo, comments and constructive criticism are always welcome and greatly appreciated!

p.s. Ignore the splotches on my shirt, I grabbed it out of the dryer for the photo, and it was still damp!

Time is an illusion. Lunchtime, doubly so.

Cool! Well done Smiley

I like them tied in back...

I may not have gone where I intended, but I have ended up where I needed to be.

Congrats on the weight loss!!  I am just starting on my journey to slenderdom and hope I am able to do as well as you.

Really nice job on the capris too.  I don't think I've ever seen wrap capris before, but they look really nice and comfortable.  Did you follow a pattern?

Thanks, ladies!
Cheese- I like them tied in the back, too. The front makes them look a little like old lady shorts with some extra fabric.
Mansonette- Thanks! I've been working hard, and I know you will be just as successful! I did follow a tutorial, I just googled easy tutorial for wrap pants and went from there.

Neat!  I made myself a pair of wrap pants for the summer once and I remember them being sooo comfy and definitely adjustable - great idea!

Those look great. I tried making some of those last summer and they did not turn out nearly as nice as yours.
