Yay!  I'm so glad Whistley and her children like what I made them and that they've gone over well with everyone else. I had been soooo nervous about this swap!  Everyone has made such amazing things, it was rather intimidating! 

Onegroovyday, we should have a food face plate painting party when you get back!  I meant to order three plates from Kelley, because I wanted to make one for me and then I totally forgot!

I received a gorgeous felted scarf today from doyouloveanapple.

Here is an action shot to show how perfect the size is. 


it is so soft that it could be wrapped as a scarf around my neck instead of worn as a pashmina style.

A photo with some more detail to somewhat show the intricate coloured stitching along the ends.

I love the embroidery kit! The plates are genius!! TSM did an AWESOME job once again!! (I totally use the purses she made me EVERY day!) And the scarf looks so soft I never would have guessed it was felted!  Great jobs!!

Hey gang, sorry I've been a little quiet on the gallery... I've been sort of preoccupied lately. Packages so far have been amazing!

I'm really glad you liked it ehinders!!! I'm quite happy with the result, especially since it was my first time doing filet crochet... On the back, it's the symbol of Rassilon (from Dr. Who). You had a few shawls and a few Dr. Who items on your Wists which inspired this shawl.

What a gorgeous shawl! It is crocheted so beautifully! The color is such a nice autumn color as well...

The weeklong bag is fabulous!  Love the style and colors!

And what a lovely felted scarf!  I love felted anything--the little details are great! What type of yarn is it?  I would love to try a felted scarf!

Hey everyone! ecogeek* has received and has asked me to post photos. Apologies these are cell phone quality and not in the best light...it was already dark out and I was excited!


this was primarily based on this but i tried to simplify it and made it smaller since she had a ton of smaller handbags on her wist also. theres also a little star trek commander badge pinned onto the bag which i didnt actually attach because i wasnt sure if shed like it so i left it for her to decide!

(p.s. the piece of paper is there so you can notice the outer pocket, lol)


the lining, it just had to be spiderman, ya know!? 


and this was based on this! its a gadget cozy.

i am so happy she liked everything because this is the first time ive touched a craft in 2 years and im so happy to be back into it. i was really worried.

Thanks, everyone, for the great comments on the week-long bag   It was a bear of a project because I have NEVER quilted in my LIFE, and it was a tedious process even though it's channel stitched which is super easy.  The front and back bunched up in some spots and got all off-kilter, but I did a bang up job of hiding it I think!  LOL!  This would be SOOOO an easy project if I had the prequilted stuff....so I went out and bought 3yd to make one for me as I NEED a personalized duffle for traveling.
