Everything is looking great! I can't wait to see some of these pages in real life!

I have two pages to share for my Boys and Girls theme...


This one is supposed to be sortof childish/imagination based

I've done a few pages now that are acrylic. After they have dried ( a long time after) the pages are sticking to each other and mixing colors on to the opposite page. I know people use floor wax to fix this problem. Will any brand do? What should I look for? I read some where that you want to use polyurethane floor waxes? How can I tell by looking at the bottle? I visited a couple of $1 stores the past two days but didn't want buy the wrong thing. Money is scarce right now so I wanted to be SURE I was getting the right thing.

I use Minwax brand polyurethane that can be applied with a brush.  I always apply many thin coats, always letting the previous coat dry completely first.

I know there is an aerosol poly that will also work as a sealant.  I have never used the aerosol version though. 

You're looking for a sealant, not a wax.  Hope this helps.

Pretty - I LOVE that second page!  What a genius idea.  It's great.  The first one is pretty awesome too, I totally got that feeling of imagination before I read what you wrote, so it worked, lol.

Speaking of sealant - I am for sure going to need something over my pages.  Anyone know if that aerosol stuff works on collages too?

That's right. We're all working on the Sketchbook Project, which you can read about here. I believe signups for participation on that site are closed, but you are welcome to pick a theme and craft along with us.

Pretty, loooove that first page. I love the clouds. I may just have to steal let those clouds inspire me

I have used Future brand floor wax to seal work with and have a large bottle that I'm sure will last me a hundred years.....I'll go dig it out and see what it is made of.  Anyway you just apply a thin coat (it is very liquid) with a sponge brush, let dry and buff the page a bit with a clean cloth.

I read about that project before but since I'm not in the US, I couldn't join
I might join if I can buy another sketchbook somewhere wait! I have a sketchbook that I'm not using, it's actually one that I gave to my mum but she doesn't use it..., so why leave it unused, right?

I think anyone from around the world can join their projects, I'm from Canada and I'm pretty sure there are a few people from the UK participating here.  There are a bunch of different ones going on besides the Sketchbook Project....but in any case you should play along with us!
