I agree with the gluing fabric on, bethie, that's the first thing that came to my mind!

I've got a bit of a backlog of pages to share... I'm hoping to really kick it into gear in the next few weeks.

Lots of scrap embroidery threads and whatnot...

You can't really tell, but this page has a lot of metallic gold to it...

I think I'm going to add more to this... I don't think it either has enough, or too much? Dunno, we'll see.

And I definitely need to add just a little more to this page. The cat is watercolored and pieced together with brads, so the arms and legs are movable

Oh my goodness, the movable (that looks really fun, lol) cat is priceless!!  Love it!  How did you cover the brads on the back of the page?  Are you just collaging or something on the other side? 

In the rain tag page right about that, those gold (yellow?) raindrops are awesome.  Are they puffy?  They kind of look like they stick up off the page, so cool.

The page right above that, with all the little rain drop squares, is really great too.  Those little squares remind me of inchies and now I have a whole other idea for a different project.

Mice should always ride cats.  It's the only way to travel in style.

Thanks bethie! Why yes, the yellow raindrops are those epoxy stickers, so they are puffy! Why i bought yellow, I have no idea, they look kind of like pee, lol

I made the movable cat completely apart from the page first, so they're nice and hidden! I use hot glue to attach the heads of the brads to the elements instead of sticking them through both pieces, then use hot glue again to attach to the page (so it sticks up a little bit and gives the brads room to rotate) So there's no brads sticking out of the back of the page I wrote a little tute for movable elements on my blog last year. I love the yellow rain! I didn't think anything weird about it at all until you said that...lol...shows ya what kind of deep thinker I really am, ha ha!  Also, Nooo, I totally love your blog, just so ya know.  It's in my yahoo reader thingy and I'm always so excited when you get to post, even though I never comment (because I'm usually reading in between dealing with kids and trying to clean or craft or something, I'm always rushing, lol).  I will go check out that tut right now!

Wow I am soo far behind on this thread, and on my book- I am loving seeing what everyone is doing- it's kicking my butt to get back into mine!

I've yet to start mine but I've got most of it planned out.  I'm having a hard time finding a Perkins Brailler which I'm hoping to use for a good part of my book.  If I can't find one, I'll improvise but otherwise, I'm really happy with how it's turning out in my mind.
