Noo, those are amazing!  I love the last two especially! I like the top one too, but those last two are just incredible.

And, I'm sneaking this in here where no one will see it, lol...I didn't touch my book this week so I have nothing new to post.  I have a bunch of work to do on pages I've already posted but I can't seem to get time to sit and work on them.  I really need to put the whole thing together too, because it's getting too fat and I honestly don't think any more pages are going to fit in it. I am sad that the fun is almost over, nervous about the pages I have yet to fill in, and excited that, for maybe the first time ever, I'm way ahead of schedule and almost done with something EARLY!!

Not trying to make you guys feel bad, I promise, I am just so shocked that I was able to get so much done last month and I'm really proud.  Smiley

Am taking a crafting/posting hiatus and formally withdrawing from all the CAL's I was in.  Need time to recharge and rewire.  But, I am still lurking and loving you guys like crazy, keep posting the amazing projects!!!  You all rock!

I've gotten a few more pages to share!
This one still needs little nametages for all the dwarves.

This one isnt even close to being finished yet, but i like the candy house! I'm unsure on how to finish this one, any ideas?

I'm trying to decide if i should colour the letters in?

Also unfinished, but unsure on what to put on the second page... a treasure chest maybe?

Wow - Karli, I bow down to your drawing talent. Maybe for the gingerbread house, some ominous clouds? Or a transparent witch hovering over the house waiting for H and G?

Just signed up for a bookbinding class for Saturday afternoon so I can stop worrying ahead of time about putting my book back together. Oh and lots of background work this weekend - nothing really to show. Just having fun with rubber stamps and bubble wrap!

sheriffkarli! I adore the dwarves! Cheesy Especially...sleepy? Is he yawning? And chicka chicka boom boom brings back memories. I looove what you're doing with your theme.

I ended up fixing that dog page... It was just too busy, and I wasn't happy with it. The redone spread is still pretty busy, but I like it better.

Nooo--what did you do to the page to tone it down?  Was it a colorwash of some sort?  I love the pages...and your theme is so cute...that little dog is just too precious!

I also love the storybook theme--the gingerbread house is a nice reminder of that story and I love the mermaid!

bethieb--I am so jealous that you are so far ahead...but I am also inspired...prettyin paisley is right...I think I work better just jumping in rather than planning so much...I dragged my book out to show some friends and I just wanted to stop right there and do some pages!!  More doing and less thinking...

Thanks guys for the kind words!! Smiley Alwaysinmyroom, I did use a greenish wash. It was acrylic paint with lots of matte medium to thin out the color. I liked the wash and I want to do more like it, but my stash of acrylic paints is pretty sad, with only some basic non-bright colors, so I'm planning on getting some of those cheapy craft acrylics in some more characteristic colors!

I love the intensity of acrylics compared to watercolors but I had not thought to thin it down to make a nice wash!  I have some ugly paper that I think I might give that a try...

Love the latest pages! This weekend, I may have an extra free day on Monday (it was spoken for, but may have been cancelled), so I really, really should be able to start working on mine! I have 2 small projects to sew, 2 crochet blocks to make (one smaller and one larger, and I'm about to make the small one), a bit of organizing to do (and laundry) and, if I can swing it, a bunch of pillowcases to make. But, I should be able to glue pages between all of that, or should I say, I should be able to do all of that between the task of gluing pages (and laying down some color, too).
