Finally got around to posting pictures of the cool package from DesignVigilante!

She sent some hand knit washcloths, 2 crocheted spirals scrubbies, some homemade powdered laundry soap, loose tea samples, a couple tea bags, some paper tea bags  and an awesome crocheted hat that I am currently wearing ^_^ I have received so many compliments on that hat!!

I received the most amazing parcel from Noooitaremybirthday today which really cheered me up after a crummy week with a poor teething baby.

Will have to wait til hubby can help me take photos as the little man (baby not DH, although he is short  Wink ) wants to be less than an inch away from me at all times and its hard to take photos with a babe in arms  Wink Thank you so much Kira I absolutely love everything, thanks for taking a spin with me this round  Grin

Cheesy Glad you liked your things! Cheesy Let me know if you'd like me to post pictures, I've got some!

EDIT: Mink asked me to post pics of the items I sent her, and I'm glad to oblige Smiley

A hand-carved owl stamp

Plush matryoshka ornament made from a recycled angora sweater

Bookplates I got printed off from a monster I painted

A set of notecards made with some of my art prints

A bookmark. I sent a couple of other simpler ones, but I didn't get pictures of them...

A mini-book, I think the pages are 1.25 inches

A couple of beaded bird ornaments... I just learned this technique for this swap, I'm not too great at it, but it's fun!

Beaded embroidery of a bird, collector of shiny things Smiley

I think there were some other jewelry items in there, but I forgot to get pictures of them. Resin pendants, beaded necklaces and the like (I think).

Thanks Mink, for the super fun swap!!! I had so much fun! Thanks for inviting me!!! Cheesy

The bird embroidery is adorable! I just love that it's nestled into a pile of shiny. I go starry-eyed at shiny, too.  Cheesy
