It looks like my partner received, and so I wanted to go ahead and post some pics of what I made for her!!!  She requested 2 poppets...one for her mom, and one for her.  The one she wanted her for her mom was to be a cat-like version of Poor Pitiful Pearl from 1958, and for her, she wanted her very own Tsuki.  I will attach the links above the pics that she provided me.

Hope she likes them!!!!

I received from my super amazing partner Lani yesterday! <333 It had actually arrived sooner but I couldn't get to the P.O until then. >_<;

As soon as I got home I tore into the box and haven't stopped grinning since. We had decided that she would make 2 Poppets. One for me and the other one as a birthday gift for my Mom. I asked her if she could make my character Tsuki and a Poor Pitiful Pearl poppet for Mom. They are AMAZING and PERFECT and GORGEOUS~!!!!!!!!! *____* We both just loooooooooooooooooo oooooooooove them. <33333 The details are amazing! She did a brilliant job on it all. I could go on and on about them. <333

Now for the pictures! Cheesy I was wanting to take some photos of them outside but it's been raining the past few days. >_<; Once it's sunny and dry though I can. <3

Me and Tsuki <333 Just after opening the box. Cheesy

Mom and Pearl. <333

Detail shot of face. Check out the glasses and earrings! LOVE her hair too. X3

Tsuki's paint pallet! It's so tiny and perfect. *__* I think it was made with clay.

Close up of Pearls face. I love the little head scarf! X3

Tsuki and Pearl together. <3

Pearl in her new home. Cheesy

Tsuki in her new home. <3333333

Thanks again Lani! You have been an amazing partner. <3 I hope your gifts arrive soon and that you love yours as much as I love mine. <333 ^____^

Whoo-hoo!  I received from freestyle today!  I was really looking forward to the package from her, b/c I have never received homespun and dyed yarn before!  Unfortunately, I can't post photos so I will try to describe the yarnie goodness that was this package, and perhaps freestyle can post.

Here goes:

Two skeins of 70% merino, 30% silk (!) green/white/tan/grey varigated yarn

Two skeins of 2-ply, 60% merino, 30% bamboo, 10% nylon rust/tan/heather/green varigated yarn

(now onto my favs... Wink)

One skein Alpaca, merino, slik, babmoo, milk cashmere, glitter(!) purple/green/white/teal varigated yarn

One skein "Apple Barrel" 100% Falkland wool, peach/lavender/sage/creme varigated yarn

One skein 100% merino single spun thick/thin, ORANGE/purple/light orange/magenta varigated yarn

AAAANNNNDDDD.....A pair of silver turtle earrings & four silver ball stitch makers and one silver with a glittery turquoise middle stitch marker!

YES!  YES! YES!  Thanks, freestyle!

Just reading the descriptions of the yarn makes me want to learn to knit something worth handspun.

Oooh Miss Barbara I can't wait to see if freestyle has pictures of your yarn! It all sounds so pretty!!

Here's the Box o' Fibre that freestyle sent me!! And I will apologize now for all of the pictures.. but I had to!

Sitting next to my serger on the kitchen table to give you and idea of size... big, really big box!

Group shot!! If I wasn't addicted before, I will definitely be addicted to spinning now! Oh and I had to stand on my bed in order to get the whole lot in the picture! Some closeups:

100% Alpaca from northstaralpacas.et sy.com I think the is the BF's favourite! He loves green! Oh and these were taken on my bed it was the biggest amount of clear space.... I left all the fibre on my bed to eat lunch and came into to make sure the kitty wasn't getting into it and he had snuggled right up against this fibre and fell asleep!

3 roving's dyed by freestyle L to R:
100% BFL
100% Polwarth
100% Merino

2 batts drum carded by freestyle and 1 bundle of hand pulled roving dized by freestyle
Top: Wool and Angelina
L: Superwash Merino, and Firestar
R: Wool

Handspun by freestyle, black/blue/green: alpaca, merino, silk, bamboo, merino, glitz. "Rapunzel" : merino, silk, glitz

"Bon Bon" samplers from natchwoolie.etsy.co m there is so many different combos it would take too much space to list!

And this is what was in the white bag you can see in the group shot... Fibre samplers!!!

Angora, Yak, and Hemp. The Yak is surprisingly soft!

Firestar, Carbonized Bamboo, Silk, Bamboo and because I have been drooling over firestar and its shininess:

It's so sparkly!!!

Camel, wool/silk cloud, "EcoSpun" Recycled soda bottles. I was really excited to see the Camel and EcoSpun! My mom and I saw Camel's yarn at a knitting show but it was so expensive we didn't buy any, and the EcoSpun is actually quite soft considering what its made up of!

So there you have it! My huge box of fibre! Thank you so much again freestyle! You have definitely gotten me addicted... and I have already looked into making my own hackle at home so I can mix these samples of fibre together!!!
