Love the poppets.  I collect peacocks (among other things), so my wist will soon have another addition.  The felt hat with the ribbon is a perfect steampunk accessory.

Jemimah's embroidery is amazing up close.  Love the dragonfly!

No i did not have to buff the edges, they were already smooth =] I used prismacolor pencils because the color just pops better.

I received from the fabulous Samsara today, and boy did she get my tastes exactly right.  Prepare to wist!  Everything she sent is just beautiful!  I opened her package while a friend, who is a fantastic artist, was visiting.  She was so impressed, she's going to join Craftster so she can swap, too.  To start, I received notecards with flowers and hand painted bees on them.  I keep bees so these are incredibly special.  I don't know if I'll be able to use them, they're so pretty.  She also included this cute bee pencil. 



I really admire her hand painted glass work, but was certain I'd never see it in person because she's in the UK and I'm in the US.  My jaw dropped when I opened the package and found this.  She repurposed a plastic chocolate box with her signature glass painting style.  Wasn't that clever and isn't it pretty?!  I love it and will find a very special use for it. 



This sheep key ring is her first ever attempt to do a 3D form in fiber.  She fashioned it after the breed of sheep that we keep, and it's perfect!  I admired a felted heart she had done previously, and she made one in my favorite color palette.  It has a pin on the back, I plan to wear it on my winter coat.



I'll also use this gorgeous crocheted blue wrap/scarf with my winter coat.  I have been using a plaid scarf that used to be my husband's.  I am all set now, I love it!



To complete my winter ensemble, she made me a hoodie in the colors that I love based on one that she had made previously that I fell in love with.  It is awesome, I can't wait to wear it!  Is it winter yet?? 



And finally, since I am a mehendi artist, she painted me these absolutely gorgeous mehendi designs.  I love the white on black and plan to hang them in our newly renovated master bathroom.  If she has never done mehendi on a person, she needs to start because these are fantastic!  Seriously Samsara... tell me if you need a recipe for the paste.  You are so very good at it.

Jessy my package from you was fantastic!!!  The soap is wonderful!!!   I may need to swap with you again so I can get more corset bobbins!!  Looks like there is a long line of crafters wanting these. The poppets are wonderful but not something I am into.  I know the amount of time spent on them as I have made similar for gifts.

Yeah Poppets arent my thing either, i did not play with dolls as a child, that might be the reason =] lol And grandma's china dolls use to scare the hell out of me since i slept in the room they were displayed in at night as a child =S ugh!
I do admire the crafstmanship of a poppet though!

Im glad you like them quaggy! i think i forgot to seal yours though! =S Im not sure if the color stays on them without it, if not im happy to send you more! And I love swapping with you =] No one has PMed me to get in line yet! So when your ready im glad to do a Personal swap! Just a small one is fine.

Mehenndi art has such an organic flow to it, like it just developed instead of being strictly formed.  Nice package!
