So while taking my shower the dog went crazy barking and my husband yelled to the dog That it was just someone next door, Well I stuck my head out of the shower with excitement "Are you sure it isn't my package?" So being the loving husband he went to see and my daughter came running in, "Mommy your stuff is here!" So I received my package from Inez today and she totally outdid herself. We agreed to swap a poppet/ doll and one small item. She made me a poppet doll that is inspired by a peacock since I love the colors of peacocks. I just adore what I received along with the doll she provided a tut on making pose able fingers for poppets, and cd with the pics she took of the doll, a gorgeous necklace and several tid pits. On to the pics.

This is how she came in just a robe.

Her hair and hair bow. You can see her purple eyes here too.

My daughter so excited to see the poppet

and the hand holding the hemostats so cute. It goes with the pose able tut. But still so cute
Thank you so much Inez I love here as soon as she tells me her name I will tell you. You have made my first swap so wonderful Thank you. I am now so nervous since I have seen what she made for me. My husband loved it and said see I told you white alova would work for poppets. Thank you so very much I cant believe how wonderful she is and the work you put into here. Also I sat and stared at her to see the fabric you said you burnt but I think it is the petals. Thank you again I hope you enjoy your stuff Inez.

Beth, I'm so glad that you liked everything!  Cheesy I had a blast making that doll...lost track of time on several days while I was doing the Gibbousy details and machine-embroidery. Yup, the burnt fabric was for the flowers.

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.
