I had to used the photo to put the parts together.  I have the back and front done.  Now I just need to put them together.  It doesn't look right but DH said it was good for a first try.

I keep telling my DH I need to quit work so that I will have time to finish all the projects I have started.  Some I gave away to people that would finish and use them because my kids had outgrown them.  Good thing I'm not growing.

 Cheesy Wouldn't that be nice!

Ugghh. I had most of the pieces finished. I tried to join the motifs for the front and it wasn't working. I couldn't get it to look right, so I put it in a box to finish later. But when I went back to it (too many months later) I found that my cat had been using it as a bed and it had a TON of hair on it. That just wiped all the motivation I had to finish it, so I chucked the whole thing Cry.

So Ansley, I guess I will close this crochetalong since there is only one of us now Sad. I hope you post a picture when you are finished either here or in the completed projects section. It really is a beautiful pattern and when I have more time, I would love to try it again. Hopefully, I can go to your picture and get some inspiration!
